The Guild Bluesbird also features Grover tuners and a TonePros bridge .
To build the Guild Bluesbird PF Iced Tea Burst, Guild uses the proven ingredients for a Singlecut electric guitar. The Bluesbird Black features a mahogany body with large resonance chambers that are stylishly closed off by a solid maple top. The glued mahogany neck with its "C" profile fits the hand perfectly, making every note comfortably playable on the Pau Ferro fretboard.
Seymour Duncan pickups for the Guild Bluesbird's soundThe Guild Bluesbird's pickups come from Californian pickup guru Seymour Duncan and deliver classic sounds when plugged into an amplifier. The Seymour Duncan SH-1n '59 humbucker on the neck delivers a warm vintage tone that makes every note sing with vocal mids. For hotter licks and riffs, the Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB is fitted on the bridge, which gives every note a juicy bite in the mid and high frequencies to cut through the mix. The pickups are traditionally managed via a 3-way toggle switch and individual volume and tone controls.
Hardware by TonePros and GroverThe Guild Bluesbird PF Iced Tea Burst features high-quality hardware that combines classic looks with unlimited functionality. The body is equipped with a Tune-O-Matic bridge and a TonePros tailpiece, which are firmly locked into position on their bolts to support the sound and sustain of the electric guitar. From here the strings run with 24.75" scale length (628 mm) towards the headstock, where they are guided over the bone saddle to the durable Grover Sta-Tite Open Gear tuners.
