Ozone 8 Advanced from iZotope is a practical and very powerful tool used in mastering. Not only the elegant and intuitive design, but also the improved workflow and the integrated mastering processors make it an all-rounder on a high level. Imager, Maximizer, EQ, Dynamic EQ, Dynamic, Dynamic, Exciter and Vintage Limiter modules are available, all with sufficient parameters for all conceivable situations. Among the new features are performance improvements, e.g. track referencing with which you can easily compare A/B with other tracks, or the Master Assistant, which analyzes signals with its algorithm and provides mastering suggestions for streaming, CD and reference applications.

Ozone has long been convincing with its flexible processing options thanks to the EQ with the mid/side function, its various limiter algorithms, various analyzers, detailed metering and much more! The Ozone 8 Advanced version brings some improvements and features to help the user. Besides seamless communication with Neutron (click here for more information), the Mastering Suite also provides new features such as the Master Assistant, Track Referencing, Tonal Balance Control and Spectral Shaper!

This unique tool has been fed with information from countless well-known tracks from the last few years, so that it can work with various comparison models. This allows you to compare your own material with analysis data of music of the same genre and adjust it manually thanks to integrated EQ. The visual display helps to reach the target value - all quite intuitively, clearly and quickly. Of course, you can also use your own track masters as a guideline and integrate them.

Another new feature of Ozone 8 is the Master Assistant, which is able to analyze audio files and provide mastering suggestions. Many aspects are considered in order to offer a professional starting point for mastering. In this way, the intensity of the "intervention" can be determined or selected for which medium/ which situation is currently being produced (streaming, CD or reference). An intelligent algorithm changes EQ, Maximizer and Dynamics, while you can intervene at any time and optimize as desired. The Master Assistant is also able to search for comparison values from other audio files and apply them to your own mix.

With the Spectral Shaper, certain frequency ranges can be "mitigated" so that a more balanced sound image is created. This is especially useful for zipping hi-hats, harsh vocals, energetic percussion parts and in general frequencies that stand out too much from time to time. Standard parameters such as Threshold, Attack and Release, as well as the intensity (light, medium, heavy) and "Tone" can be set here.

A/B comparison made easy - the track referencing of Ozon 8 allows you to compare up to 10 tracks in order to make the right adjustments to your own audio material. Ozone 8 automatically recognizes different song parts such as verses and choruses, so you get to the result faster.
