The Laserworld DS-1600B is part of the revised Laserworld Diode series, and is equipped with improved beam characteristics and more beautiful colours. Long-term use was also thought of as an advantage. This time, the housing is completely covered so that no dust or dirt can be drawn in. The operating temperature has been reduced by new technology using DPSS laser technology to avoid overheating. This reduces maintenance work to a bare minimum.
The Laserworld DS-5500B is suitable for beginners as well as for professional users and is equipped with preset patterns. The laser projector has excellent beam characteristics with 5mm/1.3mrad (full angle) and very fast scanners with up to 30kpps@8. The DS-5500B focuses mainly on blue light effects and has blue diodes with a wavelength of 450nm (5500mW). The device can be controlled either via ILDA or DMX. Operation is either in automatic and music mode or in master/slave mode.
The main features of the Laserworld DS-5500B include:
Laser Protection Regulations:
Due to the strong focusing of the laser beam, the entire light energy is concentrated on a small area. If the human eye is hit by this beam, it can cause damage. In particular, there is a risk of eye injuries when looking directly into the beam. If the beam is deflected, which is almost always the case with the compact show laser systems due to the scanning unit, the effect and thus the danger of the beam is many times lower. Lasers or devices containing a laser are classified according to the accident prevention regulation Laser Radiation [BGV B2]. 99% of the compact show lasers currently available on the market and also all lasers offered by us belong to protection class 3a and 3b. These devices are therefore subject to approval. For safe operation at public events, a laser protection officer [radiation protection according to VBG 93 §6 (BGV-B2)] must be appointed. For installations in public buildings (discotheques, multi-purpose halls, restaurants, etc.), the systems must be approved by the locally responsible TUV (or regional equivalent) or the employers' liability insurance association. The regulations for the operation of a show-laser system valid in Germany must be observed (or, again, a legal regional regulation). Please contact your local employers' liability insurance association and the responsible TUV Company for more information.
