The Make Noise Black & Gold Shared System Plus is a combination of modules that brings together some of the best Eurorack selections from Make Noise and is the personal favourite system of Make Noise founder Tony Rolando. This unit includes Pressure Points, Rene 2018, Morphagene, Erbe-Verb, Echophon, Optomix, DPO, Maths Analog Computer, Wogglebug, Tempi and modDemix. This complete system is one of the most powerful modular systems available encased within a new wood 7U case for easy transportation.
CV Bus
The 4x control voltage buses of the Make Noise Black & Gold Shared System are color-coded and distributed from the centre of the system for intuitive and creative patching. The distribution methodology differs from a typical multiple because the control voltages can be tapped immediately adjacent to their possible targets, allowing shorter patch cables to be used. The colour coding makes complex patches more intuitive and easier to understand. Typically the CV bus is used to share the most important control voltages within a patch, such as a master clock. The CV Bus provides all the tools needed to integrate the Make Noise System into the surrounding modular world.
Modular Environment
A 6.3mm mono jack input with ample level reserves allows external signals to be fed into the system. The optimum 10Vpp level is displayed visually. A high-quality stereo line driver converts the powerful modular synthesizer level to line level. Stereo signals are fed in via mini jacks (L/R). The main volume of the Black & Gold Shared System is adjusted with the Master Volume knob, which is output via a 6.3mm stereo jack. This powerful output is capable of bridging long cable distances without loss of level, or supplying a headphone with sufficient level. AC coupling and an internal limiter circuit (with level indication) protect the hearing, as well as monitors, if the patch becomes experimental.
