FET-Large Membrane Condenser Microphone The Miktek C1 FET large membrane condenser microphone impresses even the most critical ears with its technical and sound performance and inspires the artist to perform their best. This microphone sets itself apart with a strictly controlled cardiod pattern. The C11 also offers a switchable high-pass filter as well as a switchable -10 dB level reduction for recording very loud sound sources.

The frequency response is warm in the bass range and as smooth as silk in the highs with a natural and open middle spectrum. The Miktek C1 delivers incredible results when recording acoustic instruments, guitar amps, or when used as overheads on a drum kit. Naturally however, the C1 really delivers and performs at its best when used to record vocals. The integrated head amplifier of the C1 was conceptualized around the AMI T7 transformer and in combination with premium components, including hand selected transistors, it produces a sweet sound reminiscent of highly popular vintage microphones.
