The Cyclone Cajon from Pearl is the newest from the Peruvian instrument line and impresses with unique features for ideal sound composition.
Hip Design
The design consists of an unusual rounded box shape with a black lacquer finish with orange racing stripes, giving the Cyclone Cajon from Pearl an extremely stylish appearance.
Round form for articulate sounds
The playing surface of the Cyclone Cajon is made of a mix of Asian hard woods and the body from robust fibreglass- an ideal combination for exceptional vibration behaviour.
The edges of the Cyclone Cajon are severely rounded for a number of reasons. For one the playing feeling is much more comfortable compared to their edgy counterparts, secondly the air distribution together with the rounded back with the ergonomic bass port gives this instrument a phenomenal bass sound.
Additional advantages of the Cyclone Cajon from Pearl include the, until now, clear distinction between bass and snare sound. The special construction of the interior allows the player to play both ranges separately while combing hard, crisp slaps and high projection with powerful low-end and resonant basses.
