Paul Reed Smith provides the classic mahogany body of the PRS SE 245 2018 with a solid maple top and a Riegelahorn veneer, whose intense grain is brought to life by the transparent whale blue finish. When playing the guitar, the glued mahogany neck with the "Wide Fat" profile lies full and comfortable in the hand, whereby the short 24.5" (622 mm) scale allows smooth string pulling and even complex chords and melodies can be easily handled. In addition, the traditional PRS Bird inlays between the 22 frets of the rosewood fingerboard provide the best orientation.
