An integral part of Misha 'Bulb' Mansoor's band Periphery, Mark Holcomb has been providing refreshingly tight and groundbreaking riffs since 2011. Within the SE series guitar building legend Paul Reed Smith now presents the signature model of the fingerboard magician with 25.5" scale length for tight downtunings including his specially developed Seymour Duncan Alpha & Omega pickups.

PRS Quilt Maple Top

The SE Mark Holcomb is based on the classic PRS Single Cut design of the Custom 24 with solid mahogany body and two-piece maple back in proven quality. However, the neck and fretboard are designed for technically demanding playing techniques in the low frequency range and offer a correspondingly longer scale length of 25.5" and an extremely flat fretboard radius of 20".

Seymour Duncan Alpha & Omega Humbucker

For the right sound with the perfect mix of output and articulation Mark developed the Alpha & Omega Pickup Set together with riff guru and soundmaker Keith Merrow in the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop. The two matching humbuckers for neck and bridge position do their job with percussive, cutting sounds with a healthy mid boost on the bridge, while the counterpart on the neck reproduces fat neck sounds with transparent pick attack.
