PRS SE Mira Vintage Cherry

First appearing in the PRS catalogue a few years ago, the stylish Mira model is now finally a part of the brand's affordable SE series. With a distinctive near-symmetrical body shape, slim playable neck, a set of high-output humbuckers and an all-Mahogany construction — the PRS Mira is a comfortable and powerful-sounding workhorse suitable for the studio and the stage.

PRS' SE Mira boasts a Mahogany body, delivering a warm sound with plenty of harmonic richness in the mid-range. Featuring ergonomic contours around the entirety of its double-cutaway shape, the Mira has a cozy feel that allows you to play without hindrance.

Joining the Mira's body is a Mahogany neck carved to PRS' popular "Wide Thin" profile. Offering a modern feel that contemporary players can definitely get onboard with, the Mira also has a silky-smooth Rosewood fingerboard that provides a luxurious feel under the fingers.

The PRS SE Mira is fitted with reliable, high-quality hardware that'll simply never let you down when playing onstage or recording in the studio. Equipped with PRS' Adjustable Stoptail bridge, this beautifully-machined piece of hardware combines traditional design with the perks of modern tweakability. At the other end of the instrument you'll find a set of PRS machine heads; keeping your tuning super-solid.

This versatile instrument gets most of its voice from its pair of 85/15 “S” pickups, based on the amazing 85/15 humbuckers used in many of PRS' recent American-made 'Core' line models. Delivering plenty of output, these searing pickups can handle copious amount of gain should you wish, but also clean up nicely with clean amp settings. And with the ability to coil-split the humbuckers via the push/pull tone control, you can also attain glassy single-coil sounds!
