Finding the perfect scale length took a not insignificant part of the development time of the PRS McCarty 594. After countless experiments and a series of prototypes, the decision was made for an exact 24,594" or 624.69 mm, which give the electric guitar its name and strike the golden balance between authentic vintage sound development and outstanding playing comfort. This is further supported by the "Pattern Vintage" profile of the neck, which nestles comfortably in the hand with its strong curves in "C" form.

Flawless construction with Artist Grade ceiling and rosewood neck

Like all guitars from the noble forge in Maryland, the PRS McCary 594 Wood Library convinces with flawless workmanship and a first-class selection of wood. The most striking feature is undoubtedly the particularly fine and intensely grained Riegelahorn top in sublime artist grade quality with a three-dimensional appearance. Great care is also taken in the selection of the flamed maple for the neck and fretboard, as well as the mahogany for the body, so that the electric guitar has a warm, particularly lively basic sound.
