The Seagull S6 Classic Black A/E electric guitar is the Canadian manufacturer's latest addition to its popular S6 series, a semi-massive dreadnought which, thanks to its special semi-gloss finish, not only creates a sensation in terms of sound, but also visually. In order to generate warm and bass-rich frequencies, the manufacturer uses a solid cedar top on a laminated body of Canadian wild cedar, which lends a rich note to the overall sound. The wafer-thin finish allows the material to vibrate very freely, so that the sound can develop quickly and distinctly. For a comfortable grip, the manufacturer uses a flat neck made of silver leaf maple with a rosewood fretboard. Thanks to the 43.69 mm nut width, there is enough space to easily master even complex finger patterns. A compensated GraphTech TUSQ saddle and matching nut ensure clean intonation over the entire scale length of 647.7 mm, so that all 6 strings on all 21 frets deliver a perfect sound experience. In addition to a striking white pickguard, the sound hole of the black-top guitar is surrounded by an elaborate Herringbone rosette, which in combination with a white binding forms a tasteful contrast to the bright blackwashed finish of the body. A Fishman Sonitone pickup system completes the Seagull S6 Classic Black A/E in its functions and offers the possibility to reproduce the acoustic sound amplified.
