The Sound Devices MixPre-3 USB Audio Interface is a three-input, five-track audio recorder, mixer and USB audio interface that contains Kashmir microphone preamps with 32-bit A/D converters. The MixPre-3 is a lightweight, high-resolution audio recorder with integrated USB audio streaming that offers world-class sound quality combined with extreme durability making it ideal for musicians, sound designers, podcasters, videographers, YouTubers and field recordists.

The MixPre-3 features high-performance, ultra-low-noise, discrete, Class-A Kashmir microphone preamps. Featuring a -130dBV noise floor, analogue limiters, and 32-bit A-to-D converters, this interface ensures high-quality audio recordings. Featuring a responsive capacitive touch screen for simple and intuitive operation, and a bright, IPS technology, sunlight-readable colour LCD for the ultimate in convenient navigation.

The MixPre-3 is highly durable thanks to a die-cast aluminium chassis, making it both lightweight and robust. The MixPre further features integrated Bluetooth Smart for easy connection, control and metering via iOS devices. Also including a 3.5mm jack for headphone monitoring with user-programmable presets from a custom-designed powerful, wide-bandwidth headphone amp.
