New look, old tricks

Basically a Performer B/B snare drum, the shell of the S.L.P. Backbeat Birch Bubinga consists of 3 inner layers of Bubinga, 5 middle layers of Birch as well as an outer layer of white oak. All 9 layers come together to form a wall thickness of 8mm.

Modern features meet classic design

The shell hardware of the S.L.P. Backbeat Birch Bubinga is completely chrome and are featured in a very classic design. The brass tube lugs harmonizes perfectly with beautiful matte outer layer of the shell. The discrete Linear Drive throw-off ensures for a silent and frictionless tensioning of the Hi-Carbon steel snares from the Starclassic series. The heads are from Evans and are tuned with the steel "Mighty Hoops".
