Tama Silverstar Custom VP50R, Jet Blue Burst #JTB

The Silverstar drumsets have undergone an optical overhaul and impress with a very nice vintage touch. Innovative ideas provide a more cutting sound and a much more comfortable handling. The Silverstar series stand for professional features and high quality materials with a great price-performance ratio.

The shells of the Silverstar Custom series are made from selected birch with the same method that is used for Tama high-end drums. The toms and snare drums are made from 6 plies while the bassdrum has 7 plies. With a thickness of 6 and 8 mm, these shells offer great resonance in combination with the proven Star Mount tom mounts. The tom is connected at four points by lightweight screws to increase resonance and the included tom holder MTH905N with telescope function allows almost every position.

Genius Sound Arc Hoops that origin from the Stick Saver Hoops of days long gone are flanged to the inside which increases the lifespan of your sticks. The bassdrum comes with rubber padded claw hooks which prevent damage to the wood and provide a better sound.

The result of this arrangement of high-end features and the price-conscious design is truly something to hear and experience. The Silverstar series impresses with great sound with extremely warm resonance. With a complete hardware package consisting of a snare stand and tho boom cymbal stands plus a hihat stand and a pedal from the established Iron Cobra series, the Silverstar Custom by Tama comes with everything you could ask for.
