Enhanced and expandable successor to the popular Roto sequencer Moskwa.
Moskwa and Ostankino are back and have added a lot of features. In the second version, both modules offer a special sequencer unit which shines with external BPM ranges 12 - 2400 BPM, different random generators and connectivity to XAOC's in-house Leibniz Binary System. To reduce Moskwa 2 to a simple eight-step sequencer would not do justice to the matter because Moskwa2 offers besides extensive possibilities to divide single steps into smaller segments also the possibility to be extended with itself. In other words, multiple Moskwas can be chained (and in turn extended with Ostankinos) to build a larger sequencing and modulation ecosystem.
Ostankino 2 adds CV inputs for all parameters to Moskwa 2 and also provides a clock output from the internal clock. These extensions make the two modules excellent for generative patching. It gets even more exciting when you look at the lower half of Ostakino. This can be used either to output gates or CV a specific step or to play the eight individual bit inputs of the Xaoc Drezno. For the latter, the control voltages are converted internally to be processed by Drezno.
