The DTX400K is the smallest kit in the DTX Line-up and comes with a very special feature: with the newly designed kick unit KU100 the playing of the bass drum is very silent, so you can practice nearly noiseless, even in your living room. The DTX400 Tone Generator features 169 drum voices and 128 keyboard voices from its pro-level siblings DTX900 and DTX700.
The Drum and Cymbal Pads of the DTX400KThe DTX400K E-Drum Set is coated with hard rubber pads of Yamaha. All four Pads, a snare and three Tom Pads, have the handy size of 7.5". They feature a good rebound and promise a realistic feeling. The Cymbal Pads with its 10" have a decent size and convince through an equally authentic playability. Both pedals are remarkably quiet while playing and can also be used as double pedal.
The DTX400 Sound ModuleThe sound module offers capacity for 10 drum kits, which can be overridden. The 169 drum and percussion sounds and 128 keyboard sounds come from the professional DTX700 and DTX900 series and can be individually combined and adapted. You can connect your computer or other sound modules via USB-to-host-connection. The DTX400 sound module offers ten songs to practice and play along. These can be freely exchanged. Thus, there are many different exercise functions, such as Metronome, Groove check, Rhythm gate, Measure Breaks and many many more. An MP3 player can also conveniently connect to the module, which makes it possible to accompany his own favorite music.
The Rack of the DTX400KConsisting of aluminum tubes, the rack of the DTX400K E-Drum Sets is as simple as effective. A simple rod takes all space and has sufficient scope. The sound module is mounted within reach of the player to the rack and is slightly accessible during drumming.
