Akai MPX16 Sampler

The MPX 16 is the second sample player by Akai. After the success of the MPX-8, Akai has increased the number of pads to 16. The samples can be read directly from SD-card, therefore there is no need for a sample size limit anymore. Samples in .WAV format can be recorded directly onto SD card via the 6,3mm jack inputs.

The MPX 16 has USB MIDI as well as 3,5mm MIDI jacks. Samples can be edited onboard. For spontaneous recording, the MPX 16 even offers a stereo microphone. The LCD display shows all important information at all times. The device can also be used as a common pad controller.
