The Jackson Audio Bloom V2 is a state-of-the-art compressor that, thanks to its versatile sound with boost option, has become a modern classic on countless pedal boards in no time. Whereas six distinctive sound modes cover every application scenario between fast responding limiter, soft compressor for country pickings and crystal clear slide settings with maximum sustain, the active 3-band equalizer allows for precise adjustment of the tone. In addition, the Jackson Audio Bloom V2 FX pedal offers an integrated boost with Bloom effect, which gives the sound more character and assertiveness if desired. Last but not least, all functions of the Jackson Audio Bloom V2 can be controlled via MIDI.
Compressor with six sound modesAt the heart of the Jackson Audio Bloom V2 is the analogue opto-compressor, which not only promises an extremely transparent sound, but thanks to the digital control, it also offers six versatile sound modes. The Limit and Country settings offer an extremely fast response to smooth out unwanted peaks, whereas the R&B and Ballad modes have longer attack times to support expressive electric guitar playing. Developed in collaboration with slide genius Joey Landreth of The Bros. Landreth, the Slide mode features two compressors in series for an extremely clean sound with maximum sustain. If desired, the second compressor of the slide preset can be used separately in Aux mode .
In addition, the Jackson Audio Bloom V2 is equipped with a booster that boosts the signal by up to 20 dB so that notes can be held or dynamics can be adjusted to accommodate band mates. A special feature is the Bloom mode, which is activated by pressing the Bloom switch for a long time and lets the Boost slowly swell up to its adjusted setting. Naturally the Bloom function also works the other way round and lets the signal return gradually to its original level after the Boost is switched off.
Last but not least, the Jackson Audio Bloom V2 pedal features an active 3-band equalizer with up to 12 dB boost or cut per frequency band, allowing precise adjustment of the tone. In addition, pressing both footswitches simultaneously on the Jackson Audio Bloom V2 pedal removes the EQ from the signal path.
