The Meinl Cajon Pedal TMCP offers excellent possibilities to expand the sound repertoire of a Cajon. The cable drive design makes the positioning much more flexible than a pedal unit with a shaft drive system.
Mounting and Playing
The attachment mechanism of the Meinl Cajon pedal is a cradle-like concept. This system allows the pedal to be attached to practically all Cajon models from any manufacturer. A very soft yet robust cable delivers a near-frictionless and direct address of the beater. This cable drive system allows for almost unlimited positioning flexibility, as long as the cable is long enough.
The Beater head of the TMCP Cajon pedal was designed especially for the thin, sensitive playing surface of Cajons. The soft material not only prevents damaging the Cajon but also coaxes the desired low frequencies out of this instrument delivering a fat punch.
The perfect play feeling can be set though the double adjustable spring tension and thereby the kick resistance and address. The spring tension can be adjusted on the pedal itself as well as on the beater mount.
