The beautiful Djembes of the Headliner Series from Meinl will take your breath away with their traditional yet exotic artwork. All of it is completed by hand to satisfy the highest possible demands of Meinl.

The body is carved from a single piece of mahogany, a wood that possess exceptional resonating characteristics and is therefore a very popular wood in instrument building. The Headliner Djembes receive an exotic piece of artwork that together with the chord tensioning system ensures for authentic and premium look. The chord is 4mm thick, and distributed over 16 loops and comes pre- tuned. This guarantees the best possible sound of the hand selected goat hide and the mahogany body.
