Sabian HH Max Stax High, Mike Portnoy 8" Splash, 8" China Kang

To create the Max Stax effect cymbals, the creative department of the Canadian based manufacturer Sabian has forged and hammered the sound vision of drumming legend Mike Portnoy into them. The term “Max Stax” stands for a series of effect cymbals creating a combination of variations (high, mid and low). All of these versions of the Max Stax cymbals mount effortlessly to conventional cymbal stands.

The Max Stax “High“ version is made up of an 8“ large Splash and an 8“ large Chine Kang, very assertive symbiosis with a bright, trashy, loud and short effect sound.
