Sabian HH Max Stax Mid, Mike Portnoy 10" Splash, 10" China Kang

To create the Max Stax effect cymbals, the creative department of the Canadian based manufacturer Sabian has forged and hammered the sound vision of drumming legend Mike Portnoy into them. The term “Max Stax” stands for a series of effect cymbals creating a combination of variations (high, mid and low). All of these versions of the Max Stax cymbals mount effortlessly to conventional cymbal stands.

In the Max Stax “Mid” version, a Splash and a Chine Kang with a size of 10” ensure for a very dynamic and strong sound which are perfectly suited for short, trashy and powerful accents.
