Boss DS-1X Distortion

The DS-1X represents the next generation of the very popular Boss Distortion pedal – Ideal for those guitarists who value that legendary Boss sound, which has been influencing the sound of the guitar for over 35 years. The DS-1X is equipped with the latest Boss technology, delivering sound-innovation in a proven and robust design.

The DS-1X is a distortion effect that goes far beyond the capabilities of other distortion pedals. Based on Boss Multi-Dimensional Processing Technology (MDP), this pedal produces the perfect distortion sound even at the highest level settings. The effect is very responsive and accurate in different playing dynamics and creates a very differentiated sound for both deep and high tones, even when more than one note is played. The sound always remains present and does not receive any unnatural overtones or colouration. The DS-1X is more than just an effects pedal - it gives you access to a totally new, different sound world.
