Accordingly, an exceptional Monte Rosa cedar ceiling with unique sound characteristics sits enthroned on a walnut body. Monte Rosa cedar grows in higher mountain regions where the climate is rougher. As a result, this special cedar develops a higher density and stiffness than the standard cedar. The sound reminds of the characteristics between standard cedar and Sitka spruce, with the best characteristics of both woods. Accordingly, this dreadnought resonates with powerful and warm bass, nuanced and vocal mids, as well as fine silver highs. This makes Dowina Chardonnay DCE-MR ideal for powerful vocal accompaniment with strumming or flatpicking.
