Drum Workshop PDP Satin Oil Snare 14"x8", Bubinga/Maple/Bubinga

The Satin Oil drums from PDP give everyone the possibility to call a high-end snare drum their own for an affordable price. The shell consists of 20 wood layers, 16 layers of maple makes up the core which is surrounded by 2 layers of Bubinga on both the interior and exterior. This unique combination gives the PDP Satin Oil snare its individual sound, making it perfectly suited for live performances as well as for the recording studio.

The shell is finish with a natural Bubinga clear lacquer. Combined with the chrome hardware and the Vintage bridge lugs, it creates a premium overall image which is sure to impress at the core of every drum kit. An additional highlight of the PDP Satin Oil snare drum is the proven DW MAG snare throw-off. The bridge lugs and the throw-off along with Butt Ends are lined with rubber gaskets preventing direct contact between the hardware and shell. The hoops of the PDP Satin Oil snare drum are made from triple-flanged steel and offer strong hold for the standard DW heads. The copper snares deliver together with the maple-bubinga shell a defined and rapid address with a rounded sound.
