The Gibson ES-335 Figured has a slim Thinline body , whose top, back and sides are made of a three-ply figured maple laminate with a particularly elegant and intense grain. In combination with the solid maple center block , the semi-acoustic construction promises a particularly resonance-friendly sound without creating unwanted feedback at high volumes. The glued mahogany neck offers comfortable playing characteristics with its pleasantly strong "Rounded C" profile , so that the classic techniques of Blues and rock can be implemented with ease on the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.

The classically built pickups deliver a lively sound at the guitar amplifier, which skillfully captures the resonance of the semi-acoustic construction and offers the perfect basis for harmonious clean sounds and creamy Overdrive with the clear vintage warmth. To control the pickup is the familiar 3-way circuit with separate volume and tone controls for each pickup.
