The Oxygen 49 MKV from M-Audio is a USB keyboard controller with a highly playable, velocity-sensitive keyboard with 49 full-size keys. Thanks to auto-mapping, all controls like faders and knobs are directly assigned to the current surface (plug-in) in the most common DAWs (Ableton, MPC Beats, Logic, Cubase...). The 8 backlit and velocity-sensitive pads offer a defined pressure point and feature note repeat. Three advanced playing aids are available: Smart Scale configures the keyboard to one of 16 scale variations, Smart Chord adds matching chord notes to a self-played note, the Arpeggiator offers the usual repertoire of playback patterns including shuffle. The convenient transport buttons control the main functions such as recording, playback and loop mode in a DAW.
