Melotus Versio by Noise Engineering is a stereo effects module focused on granular sound processing . The audio signal is broken down into textures and small fragments that can be condensed using the available parameters or transforming the sound in a completely new direction. The filtered audio is processed with a low-pass/high-pass combination filter, adding a shimmer-like effect and sub-harmonic nuances. Individual fragments can be frozen and dismantled manually or via control voltage , enriching the sound spectrum with random or rhythmic elements.
