The Pioneer DJ-DDJ-FLX10 adds a professional and solid 4-channel DJ controller to Pioneer DJ's growing FLX series , combining and replacing both the DDJ-1000/DDJ-1000-SRT models in one DJ controller. With the DDJ-FLX10, the rekordbox DJ software unlocked via hardware unlock gets a new feature called "Track Separation" , the ability to isolate drums, vocals and instruments on each song , control them in real time and add BeatFX or the Color Sound FX to individual parts . The 8-inch jog wheels with enhanced on-jog displays give DJs full control over what they see, keeping all the information they want in view without having to constantly look at the computer screen. With a whopping 14 BeatFX , where the timing of the effects can be adjusted via two buttons, and an assortment of 6 Sound Color FX , there are plenty of options to add a personal touch to your DJ set . The mixer section offers all the options DJs know from stand-alone club mixers . The Beat and Sound Color FX can also be used for up to 4 analog playback sources , such as turntables, CD players or media players, without the need for a computer . Furthermore, the Pioneer DJ - DDJ-FLX10 has its own DMX interface , which can be used to create individual light shows with Rekordbox and DMX-compatible lighting effects.
The Track Separation option is an innovative tool. This function, if the option has been activated, already creates a version from each track during the analysis, where vocals, drums and instruments can be isolated with the push of a button on the DDJ-FLX10 panel. This makes it possible to mix individual parts with elements from other tracks. An effect from the Beat FX or Sound Color FX range can be applied to each of these three tracks, opening up completely new possibilities.
The "Mix Point Link" option makes it possible to link different tracks together via cue points at certain points so that the next song plays at a predefined position. This is certainly not intended to help DJs automate their mixes, but it can be quite useful when DJs want to focus on other processes in the DJ booth. The high-resolution on-jog displays integrated into the 8-inch jog wheels prevent DJs from having to constantly look at their laptops to find out the current status of the track being played. The Pioneer DJ - DDJ-FLX10 offers an integrated DMX connection, located on the back of the controller, which allows DMX-compatible light effects to be controlled or specially tuned light shows to be created via rekordbox DJ and played back as required. If this is not desired, there is also an automatic mode that controls movements and colours independently.
The DDJ-FLX10 is a hardware unlock controller. This means that the DDJ-FLX10 is recognised by the respective software and activates the Pro mode of rekordbox or Serato DJ Pro as soon as the programme is started on the computer and the DDJ-FLX10 is connected to the computer.
