With the RANE - FOUR , the company RANE serves the first Generation of DJ controllers that natively support the STEAM feature in Serato DJ Pro . Rane and Serato have a long history together since they collaborated to launch the RANE SL-1 DVS box in 2004 . The RANE - FOUR DJ controller represents the current culmination of this collaboration, which is sure to spawn several more DJ innovations in the future. Similar to the performance mixers of the Seventy series, the RANE - FOUR focuses on intuitive and creative DJ performances in the 4-channel mixer section , with 22 paddle-triggered Main FX and a wide range of customization options , but can of course also be controlled for regular DJ purposes and, using the appropriate software upgrade, even via Serato DJ Pro - DVS . The capacitive 8.5-inch jog wheels have been designed to be the most precise and smoothest jog wheels for DJ controllers to date, and the color display on the jog wheels, mandatory for RANE controllers, provides DJs with all the necessary information for a smooth workflow where users always keep track of everything. The RANE FOUR supports external devices, such as the RANE TWELVE MKII or the Denon DJ - LC6000 add-on controller , among others, for an immersive 4-deck experience . Above the dedicated performance pads are 4 OLED displays for each section , providing visual feedback for each pad mode and allowing DJs to engage with their performance without compromise .
