With the EchoExpress III-D TB3 PCIe, Sonnet offers a 3-slot T 100bolt 3 expansion system for PCIe cards to expand notebooks, all-in-one computers and professional workstations. Modern computers are becoming more and more powerful, but also more compact, so that PCIe slots for using external software are often omitted completely. The external solution allows you to add three professional video capture cards, audio interfaces, SAS or SATA HBAs, 16GB or 8GB Fibre Channel, 10 Gigabit Ethernet and RAID controller PCIe cards to any Mac with a Thunderbolt port.

Another advantage is the incredibly fast 40Gbps Thunderbolt 3 interface of the Echo Express 3 D TB3, since it works twice as fast as a Thunderbolt 2 interface and reaches bandwidths of up to 2750 MB/s - optimal for 4K video recording and processing cards with high frame rates, as well as 16GB FC cards and Dual 10GbE cards. The interface supports not only the fastest PCIe cards, but also up to 2 4KB screens at 60Hz or a 5k screen at 60Hz. Various peripherals with TB and USB are supported.

With its three PCIe slots for full-size cards up to 30.8cm in length, the Echo Express IIID is ready for any application. The integrated 300W power supply with a 75W power connection provides even power-hungry cards, such as an Avid Pro Tools HDX or a RED ROCKET-X with enough power.

With its rugged aluminum enclosure, the Echo Express provides perfect protection for the installed PCIe cards, while an internal fan is temperature controlled and automatically adjusts the airflow to the cooling requirements of the installed card for optimal and quiet cooling at all times. In addition, this version has no power button and automatically turns on and off with your computer to save power.
