The AQ1 Stage Set YW in Yellow is a drum set including hardware with 5 birch shells for demanding beginners. The toms are suspended with the new Sonor Smart Mount bracket, and the lug design and nameplate have also been revised. The drum shells consist of 6 layers of birch with a total thickness of 7.2 mm each. Included is a hardware package from the Sonor 2000 series with 2 x boom cymbal stands, 1 x snare stand, 1 x hi-hat stand and single pedal. The bassdrum hoops is, just like the shells, provided with a high-gloss lacquer and fits the set color. High-quality Remo UT Pinstripe heads support the powerful and bright sound of the birch shells harmoniously and give the sound a deep basic character with lots of attack.

The 5 shells of the Sonor AQ1 drum set consist of 6 layers of birch with 7.2 mm total thickness. This results in a resonant, loud sound with a lot of attack. The necessary low bass is added by the high-quality Remo UT Pinstripe heads, which are loved for their full and deep sound. The newly designed lugs and the AQ1 nameplate continue the modern design line harmoniously, which is then perfectly completed by the high-gloss finish and the bass drum hoop in set color.

World first: Sonor Smart Mount

The Sonor AQ1 Series Tom-Toms are suspended using the Smart Mount System. This innovative mounting system for drums was manufactured by Sonor in Germany and convinces with its minimalist design and high functionality. The suspension has only two points of contact with the drum shell and allows it to resonate freely and unhindered. The Sonor Smart Mount System features a suspension rail that is integrated directly into the lug and a high-quality hard rubber buffer between the shell and rail for more resonance and balanced sustain.

The Sonor HS 2000 Hardware Set is a double-braced drum hardware set for beginners and advanced players from the Sonor 2000 hardware series. Due to its light but robust construction the set is also suitable for smaller gigs and tours as well as the rehearsal room. It consists of 2 x boom cymbal stands, 1 x snare stands, 1 x hi-hat stand and single pedal.
