The Sonor ProLite PL SSE Stage S ShellSet in Solid Lite Grey is a limited edition available in 2017 and only 50 times worldwide. The professional Sonor drum set combines highest quality with modern design and perfect sound. The extremely thin maple boilers in Sonor Vintage construction are glued stress-free in the CLTF process and additionally built with a reinforcing ring, so they convince with an incredibly warm resonance and tonal balance. The boiler set consists of 10"x8" + 12"x9" tom-toms, 14"x14" + 16"x16" floor toms and a 22"x17.5" bass drum. Thanks to the Optimum Shell Measurement method, the skins rest particularly well on the 45° ridges. The clamping brackets are equipped with the patented Sonor Tune-Safe principle, which keeps the tuning stable. Rubber-backed boiler hardware and the T.A.R. mounting system allow the drum boiler to swing freely.

The noble high-gloss finish Solid Lite Grey was inspired by the automotive industry and painted with the utmost care. Only selected maple wood from ecologically sustainable sources is used in the production of Prolite boilers. The 9 or 12 layers are glued together using the typical Sonor CLTF process for optimum durability and the best possible sound experience and then provided with 45° burrs. The thickness of the Prolite maple kettle is kept to a minimum (4mm kettle / 6mm bass drum) thanks to its vintage construction, resulting in an incredibly wide range of sounds. For additional stabilization, the boiler edges are provided with a reinforcement ring. With the "Optimum Shell Measurement" method, the skins are even better on a conditionally undersized vessel size, which is noticeable by excellent sounds and a controlled sustain.

All hardware parts of the Sonor Prolite series serve primarily for sound support, are provided with rubber pads and avoid metal-wood contact. Sonor's patented Tune Safe process provides a relentless tuning and the redesigned T.A.R. Mounting System provides even better support with improved vibration characteristics. Various features like the redesigned BassDrum legs make setting up much easier and fit harmoniously into the visual image of the Prolite series.
