The YAMAHA YFL-211 Headjoint for flutes of the YAMAHA 200 series is made out of robust nickel silver. To reach a warm and mellow sound it is covered with a silver plate.

The CY headjoint has a polyconical bore line and cares for an excellent and direct attack point. Furthermore it has a rich, balanced and voluminous sound.

A headjoint is the most important fact of a flute because it cares for a colorful sound, sound projection, articulation and attack point. All these qualities are combined in the YAMAHA headjoint.
