With its distinctive shape, the mahogany body of the Yamaha TRBX 304 Factory Blue offers excellent balance on both lap and strap, providing excellent ergonomics when playing this electric bass. This is perfectly supported by the slim profile of the bolt-on five-piece maple-mahogany neck making every groove easily manageable. To ensure that the orientation between the 24 medium frets is not lost, classic dot inlays mark the positions of the rosewood fingerboard .

The electrical sound conversion of the Yamaha TRBX 304 is handled by two Yamaha M3 humbuckers with exposed pole pieces and powerful ceramic magnets , which can be blended together using the Pickup Balance control .
